Founded in1980. The Landscape Centre has grown to become one of Irelands leading Landscape Contractors, providing a high quality service through partnership frameworks to developers, corporate clients and local authorities.
In 1993 the Company was accredited to the ISO 9002 Quality Standard, the first Landscape Contractor in Ireland to achieve this and among one of the first five in the United Kingdom, and more recently the company has gone on to achieve accreditation to the ISO9001:2000 standard. The business was incorporated in 1997 and in 2003 Steven Thompson was appointed Managing Director of The Landscape Centre Limited. The company has continued to grow and develop and in 2004 was the first Landscape Contractor in Ireland to achieve 3rd Party accreditation for their Health and Safety Systems in the form of SafeTcert.
The business currently employs 170 full time staff and has an annual turnover in excess of £ 6 million. Managed and controlled from our head office in Antrim and delivered through various regional premises across Ireland and the North of England. A distinctive feature of the Company is that it is able to provide a Comprehensive service to customers from design to implementation and ongoing maintenance. We employ Landscape Architects, Quantity Surveyors and Horticultural Professionals along with Accounts and Human Resources staff.
The Company has been able to combine performance with high standards of quality and have been regular winners of the A.L.C.I. (Association of Landscape Contractors of Ireland) awards, winning more awards in recognition of quality workmanship and service than any other contractor.
